Up for sale is a Garmin GPSMAP 7212. This unit came to me in need of repair – the NMEA 2000 port was nonoperational. In the end, the CPU board was found to be at fault, and unfortunately – unrepairable. I later acquired another 7212 with a smashed display, but otherwise fully operational, and combined the two in order to make an operational unit. The photos show the unit connected to a NMEA 2000 GPS sensor (not included in this listing), and displaying the correct position. GPS satellite data is properly displayed as well. I do not have a Garmin radar or other network accessory, so the network ports were tested with the network switch – seen in the photo (but not included in this listing). All 3 ports show the proper data activity on the switch. The unit has been allowed to operate on the bench for 72 hours, and is working well. The LCD came from a unit from Ohio, so there’s no issues with sun damage. Unit comes with the protective cover. Since I did not receive the trim pieces for the face of the unit, they are not included. Normally, I offer a 1 year warranty on all items I sell, but given the parts limitation, that is not possible. I will allow a 90 day right of return. If you have any questions, note the last photo.
