89-92 OMC Johnson Evinrude 40 48 50 hp Lower Unit Gear case. Lower unit off a Johnson tracker 40hp outboard. Unit in working condition. Both shafts are straight. The drive shaft is 22 1/2 from housing. This is a 14 spline drive shaft. 5/8 diameter at splines. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHAFT, There are different sizes during this time period. I had no problems shifting while on boat. But ITS A LITTLE STIFF SHIFTING IN REVERSE BY HAND. The unit had no water or metal in fluid when drained. I would change water pump. Its been on there a while. Slight bend in skag. Shown in picture. Ships lower 48 US only.
