It was removed from a freshwater engine. This has been tested and guaranteed to be working properly. The wires have been cut, but this is an easy fix, all you have to do is replace them or splice them. The paint is chipped in some areas, but this will not affect performance. All in all, this will make an excellent replacement for your outboard! At this time, we are able to bench test this item. We are now offering a 2 year mechanical warranty for this part. Should you have any problems within this time frame, we will simply refund/replace the item as necessary. Please note that if this is ordered incorrectly, we will NOT accept returns on the parts.
