Nice Clean merc 50 HP, always used in freshwater for only a few months each summer. Very clean, i started to restore it but have too many projects. I rebuilt the fuel pump and water pump, rewired the internal harness, replaced all fuel lines with ethanol resistant lines, and put a new ignition switch in the control box. That is as far as i have got, i have run it in a barrel but not on a boat. This is a perfect candidate for use on your vintage boat. Lower unit is in great shape with no sign of water in the gear oil, driveshaft is super clean for it’s age.. i will run it in a barrel to demo. Local pickup only unless buyer is able to arrange shipping.
