This is a 1955 Mercury Mark 20H factory racing motor. It is missing the faceplate. The throttle cable bracket is not original. In the last picture to the left side of the nut you will see a break in the aluminum casting. This is a bracket that bolts the top cowl to the engine block. It will have to be heliarc welded. On the bright side the motor has very good even compression on both cylinders. The lower unit appears very good and turns smoothly when the engine is turned over. The skeg is missing a few inches see photo. The prop looks pretty good, it is not perfect it has a few nicks. The gas rank is pretty clean and dent free. I do not have the hose or connector that goes to the engine. I have not run this engine and there are no guarantees that it will run. I do know this was raced in Washington state many years ago.I will ship this in 3 boxes. Powerhead in one lower unit in another, and the gas tank in the third all very well packaged to prevent damage. It will all be fully insured and I will require a signature at delivery.
