Mariner Outboards

2.5M - 3.3M   The two stroke 2.5M and its close relation, the 3.3M are well known units. They are simple to operate and the more powerful 3.3M has a clutch to facilitate manoeuvring as well as being available in both standard and long shaft. Both units have an emergency kill cord as standard for added safety.

4M - 5M - 4MLH Sailmate   The two stroke 4M / 5M are single cylinder outboard engines, with full forward, neutral and reverse gears. The 4M has an integral fuel tank, whilst the 5M is in addition, also supplied with a remote 12 litre fuel tank for extended running. The 4MLH Sailmate has been designed especially for smaller sailboats and other displacement craft. It features a fine pitch propeller, battery charging and additional exhaust relief ports that allow the exhaust gases to escape underwater, but without interfering with the propeller when using reverse.

4M/4 - 4MLH/4 - 5M/4 - 6M/4   The four stroke 4M/4, 5M/4 and 6M/4 all share the same basic design and 123cc capacity. They offer full gears and shallow water drive. The 4M/4 has an integral fuel tank, whilst the more powerful versions have a remote tank as standard instead. Like the 4MLH two stroke outboard motors, the 4MLH/4 Sailmate is the special displacement boat version with a fine pitch propeller, battery charging and additional exhaust relief ports that allow the exhaust gases to escape underwater, without interfering with the propeller when using reverse. The Sailmate unlike the other versions, is only available in long shaft.

8M/4 - 9.9M/4   The four stroke 209cc 8hp and 9.9hp Mariner engines weigh from just 38.1kg, making them popular with inflatable boat users. They feature a multi function tiller arm, which incorporates the gear shift functions in the twist grip throttle, resulting in one handed steering, throttle and gear operation.

9.9M - 15M   The two stroke 9.9M and 15M models are amongst the lightest outboard motors in this class. They feature Mariner’s special one-handed control, where the gearshift is controlled by the twist grip, which also controls the throttle. Simply rotate the grip one way or the other, depending on which way you want to go!

15M/4   The 4-stroke 323cc 15hp Mariner has a reputation for good performance and reliability. It is available with either tiller control - hand start, or remote control electric start. The tiller control models have a front mounted gear lever for convenience. Typical of four strokes, these engines are quiet and economical.

  MARINER OUTBOARDS 20HP - 60HP

25M/4   The 4-stroke Mariner 25hp is quiet and economical. The range topping 25ELPT/4 has full remote control, electric start and power trim and tilt. All the other models feature gas assist tilt, enabling the engine tilted with ease. All the electric start models are remote control, and the manual start versions are tiller control.

30M Light   The 2-stroke 30hp ‘Light’ has been designed for smaller craft which require light engines. Although light in weight, this engine performs well, and even has the convenience of shallow water drive.
