Geonav GPS navigation equipment

 

C A Clase is launching "the groundbreaking" new Geonav 3, the latest model in the GPS chartplotter range from Geonav GPS navigation equipment.

 

Geonav say: "Designed with outdoor and sport enthusiasts in mind, the unique multi function GPS chart plotters combine marine, land, hiking and skiing navigation in one compact, easy to use unit."

 

The Geonav 3 offers a 2.2" transflective colour TFT LCD screen with a 320 x 240 pixel display, which is said to be retained in full sunlight. It boasts a battery life of hours hours and weight of approximately 100 grams. It is water resistant to IPX 7, which means immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.

 

Geonav say: "A fully programmable chart plotter compatible with both Navionics Land & Sea and Navionics Platinum charts, it offers practical information and support for mariners, including 3D navigation, satellite images, panoramic port pictures and coastal aerial photographs. It also features a 'Go To' function to recall ports and markers as well as identifying the nearest location for immediate supplies of necessities such as water and fuel.

 

"The innovative satellite navigator features exclusive Navionics multi dimensional electronic outdoor cartography, allowing skiers for example, to navigate throughout any ski resort in the Alps."

The Geonav 4C comes with a 3.5" daylight viewable colour LCD display, user friendly driven operation, equipped with built-in GPS device. This neat compact system uses Navionics Gold cartography for both Land and Sea, providing a fully integrated system able to switch from road to sea without changing cards or loosing stored navigation data!

 

The 4C XS (X-Screen), featuring an SVGA output port, is a special version of the GEONAV 4C. Its 12-pin connector allows repeating the display of Navionics Gold marine charts on any SVGA standard monitor.
