IMO Approved Range of Cellite Aluminium Honeycomb PanelsIncorporating a non-combustible aluminium honeycomb core, compliant with IMO RES A 472 (X11) with aluminium skins bonded with a high strength structural adhesive, Cellite Aluminium Honeycomb Sandwich Panels are classified to IMO Resolution A653 (16) amendment resolution 61 (67) 1996. Warrington Fire Research Centre test reports 72119 and 72120 refer. MoD Approved Range of Cellite Ali-Lam PanelsCombined in one product are the properties of aluminium and the attractive appearance and durability of a decorative laminate. Ali-Lam is approved by the Ministry of Defence for use on Royal Naval vessels and is tested to DERA/SMC/CR961050 Annex B and NES 711 and 713. Equipment pods for RNLI lifeboatsWorking closely with RNLI Naval Architects, Technical Resin Bonders designed and built the Equipment Pod for the new IB1 Off-Shore Lifeboat. This complex structure combines the use of advanced materials with the latest construction techniques to meet the challenges associated with its life-saving role. The Pod is fitted to the Bow Board, which is produced by precision CNC machining prior to being moulded using a closed mould resin injection method. This provides for high dimensional accuracy and total repeatability. Other examples include:• Bulkheads for offshore powerboats To meet a diverse range of applications within the marine industry, Technical Resin Bonders have particularly developed a family of complementary products. Cellite Aluminium Panel Cellite Fibre Panel Incorporating a non combustible aluminium honeycomb core, compliant with IMO RES A 472 (XII), aluminium skins and bonded with a high strength structural adhesive, Cellite aluminium panels are classified to IMO Resolution A653 (16) amendment resolution 61 (67) and IMO Resolution MSC 61 (67) 1996. Warrington Fire Research Centre test reports 72119 and 72120. This versatile lightweight sandwich panel is being used extensively for bulkheads, deckheads and soleplates. Cellite Decorlite Panel Comprising the same sandwich panel construction as the Cellite aluminium panel, Decorlite incorporates a lightweight decorative surface on one or both faces. This tough PVC coating provides excellent resistance to abrasion and scuffing and is available in a range of colours. It meets the same IMO requirements as the Cellite aluminium panel. Ali-Lam Combined in one product are the unique properties of aluminium and the attractive appearance and durability of interior decorative panels laminate. Tested to DERA/SMC/CR961050 Annex B and NES 711 and 713, Ali-Lam is approved by the Ministry of Defence for use on Royal Naval vessels. With a heart of aluminium honeycomb core, skins of woven glass fibre material impregnated with an epoxy resin system, Cellite fibre is a high strength yet lightweight panel which is used for interior fitout of luxury yachts, as well as being one of the main materials for the superstructures on RNLI lifeboats. Being easy to work with and available in a range of thicknesses, Cellite fibre panels remain a firm favourite with marine outfitters who can finish the product with a high quality painted surface. Nomex® DecoreT"O Panel Specially developed by DuPont and manufactured under license the DecoreT " panel consists of a Nomex' fire resistant honeycomb core with outer skins of either marine plywood or with real wood veneers. It provides a traditional appearance without the associated weight and is suitable for all types of interior panels and furniture. The family of panels also include Cellite phenolic, Cellite decorlam, carbon and glass fibre laminates and Ali-Lite. Panels can be machined and profiled on our in-house 3 axis CNC router and formed to Lmake complex shaped finished assemblies. Nomex' is a DuPont registered trademark
