Aladdins Cave Specialist marine clothing

Aladdins Cave, the yacht chandlery business based on the Hamble River, has recently re-opened it’s Swanwick store based in Premier Marinas as a specialist marine clothing shop.

Mr. Bill Foulkes, one of the company’s owners commentated that. “We have always sold clothing within our five shops, but felt that we needed to expand the choice offered to our customers, and offer that choice under one roof.”

With well known brands such as Henri Lloyd, Gill, Sebago, Musto, Dubarry and Weird Fish, Aladdins Cave will be offering technical clothing such as sailing waterproofs as well as a wide selection of casual clothing that will appeal to the yachtsman and landlubber alike.

Mr Foulkes added. “Apart from the clothing we are also stocking a wide range of sailing footwear to suit every yachtsman, including the latest must have ‘Crocs’.”

“We will continue to sell yachtsmans clothing at our riverside branches, and having a dedicated clothes shop enables us to offer these customers a quick turn-around on a wider range of products.” “The new shop will also be a more relaxed atmosphere in comparison to our chandlery shops, which should appeal to a wider cross section of customers.”

Yacht chandlery products

Aladdins Cave Chandlery will continue selling its yacht chandlery products from the nearby Deacons Mega-Store. This shop will now specialise in chandlery and with a Rib & Inflatable Section, Safety Specialist Section and full bespoke Rigging Shop on site, the yachtsman has the largest selection of chandlery and sailing clothing within a stone’s throw of each other.
