RJ Prior & Son is a family company, first established in 1892 and is now being run by 4th generation, Robin.

 

Based on the River Crouch at Burnham in Essex they can offer deep water swinging moorings and dock berths.

 

A launch service is available for customers, as are a 15 ton crane and 25 ton slipway. Winter berths and undercover storage can also be arranged.

 

This yard has many years of experience in traditional and classic wooden boat repair and construction, having an impressive heritage of building traditional clinker and carvel planked boats.

 

Whether repairs, refurbishment or complete rebuilding are required, all major or minor repairs can be undertaken to include woodwork and joinery, garboards, planking, laminated frames, hull repair, deck repair, deck beams as well as complete re-construction of cockpits and interiors, refurbishment and grp repair, insurance repairs and sterngear repair.
