Eastbourne Outboard Centre Ltd is a small family business run by Phillip and Wendy Kendall.

The company was founded in 2004 by Phill having spent thirteen years working in the marine industry, four of which based in Sovereign Harbour.

We started in a small retail unit, primarily dealing with the sales and servicing of outboard engines, small boats and some chandlery items.

In July 2006 we moved into larger premises beneath the new Yacht Club within the harbour, stocking a wide selection of chandlery items, hardware, electronics, water sports equipment and nautical gifts, whilst maintaining a very personal and professional service to the core of our business, being the servicing and maintenance of outboard engines.

Eastbourne Outboard Centre is an established UK marine engineering company based on the South Coast at Sovereign Harbour Marina in Eastbourne. We are main dealers for Nanni diesel engines, Mercury and Honda outboard engines.

Outboard servicing

Our fully trained technicians provide servicing at our workshop and along the south coast.

Our fully equipped workshop has the latest diagnostic equipment for DFI outboards & specialist tools to cater for the full range of outboard maintenance. This includes annual servicing, fault diagnosis, engine rebuilds, winterising and pre-season tuning for all makes of outboards & PWC's.

We service both 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines from any manufacturer and offer customer support and advice on a vast range of products. We carry many spares in stock and can usually get what we don't carry within 48 hours.

Boat Electrical Services

Eastbourne Outboard Centre also carry out boat electrical services including minor repairs, total rewires and electronics upgrades/installs.

We can supply Mercury parts and Honda spares and accessories throughout the UK, from a split pin to a brand new engine, through our mail order delivery service if you are not able to visit our premises.

We are conveniently situated in the Centre of Sovereign Harbour Marina beneath the Yacht Club and always try to assist local owners and visitors should they experience any difficulties whilst visiting our Marina.

New Marine Engine Sales

We are a Mercury, Honda and Nanni Diesel main dealer.

We hold a varied stock of new engines and can order new units from our suppliers usually within 5 working days.

We also have a changing stock of secondhand outboards from Mercury, Honda, Evinrude, Suzuki, Yamaha and Johnson subject to availability.

We will also consider part exchange on your old engine.

We have a well stocked chandlery which caters for most needs. We carry safety equipment, fenders, stainless steel hardware, electrical equipment and sundries, Outboard/Engine service/maintenance essentials, Seasonal clothing and foot wear, along with many other items.

We aim to keep a varied range of popular items but sadly cannot keep everything; however we are always happy to locate and order items in for our customers from the ever increasing plethora of marine suppliers and specialist manufacturers.
