We are a family run business which comprises of Jon and Dave Henshaw. Being involved in boats all of their lives Jon spent 3 years at Berkshire Marine Engineering College achieving both national diploma and a City & Guilds in marine engineering.

From there he went on to work as an engineer /auto electrician for French brothers, marine engineers for 3 years, after which he started National A1 Marine 4 years ago specialising in servicing repairs of outboards and ribs.

Dave Henshaw---40 years working on or building rigid inflatables--30 years with West Kirby Lifeboat (now operations manager). Amongst many past rebuilds--Atlantic 21 and 2 pacific 22's the latest being tested on a circumnavigation of Britain via Paris.

We are specialists in RIB rebuilds and have access to a vast range of used top of the range RESCUE-COMMERCIAL-SAFETY RIBs (Halmatic, Avon, Delta).

We strip hulls bare and then obtain an independent survey. Once the survey is approved we then rebuild to original or customers specification followed by extensive sea trials to test each system in various weather and sea conditions.
