Jacobs Yacht Cradles and Boat Cradles

E. Jacobs and Sons have been manufacturing boat cradles for over 20 years. We also manufacture keel bolts, pintles and skegs as well as other components for the marine industry (any fabrications made to drawings).

Originally Jacobs cradles were made of a rigid construction and though strong and robust, the problems were apparent with transportation. Some cradle bases could be 4m wide and 6m long!

It was with this in mind that we designed a cradle which could be easily transported and also have a great degree of strength and adjustability to suit the numerous types of different hull configurations.

After much development work the Jacobs patented cradle was put into production. At the time of writing over 500 have been fabricated and are being used in the UK, Eire and Sweden (it is however possible to transport them all around the world).
