New Product News 2008

IMP continues to grow throughout 2008 with the addition of several new product lines. All leaders in their field and in their respective countries, IMP is confident that the addition of Axis Carbon Gangways, Bioinox Passerelles, Cantalupi Switches and LED Spots, Speich Windscreen Wipers and San Giorgio S.I.E.N. Gauges and Sensors will help to increase the quality of our product range whilst offering our customers even more reason to purchase from IMP.

IMP Gains ISO: 9001 Certification (ISO LOGO)

IMP is proud to announce it has been awarded the ISO: 9001 Quality Management Certification in January 2008.

Over the course of the past few months IMP has been working hard and diligently to bring in line our internal procedures to meet the required high management standards set by this internationally recognised certificate. "As a company dedicated to increasing its quality management systems, gaining the ISO: 9001 certification is a true barometer of how we stand as a business, as a key supplier to our customers and as an employer to our staff" comments Managing Director, Roger Ralston. Axis Carbon Foldable Gangways

Axis is a recently formed subsidiary of the experienced advanced composite manufacturer KMT Nord from Denmark.

Using the latest carbon technology and know-how Axis proudly presents a complete boarding solution. The Axis carbon gangway range offers a strong and lightweight construction, foldable for compact stowage with a full set of options available including built in cassette, stanchions and LED lighting.

There are currently 4 models available ranging from 2.2m to 3.7m extending length, 4.5-6.5 kgs weight, a maximum safe working load of 300 kgs and available in either white or transparent carbon.

Bioinox Passerelles, Davits and Hydraulic Tender Lifts

Italian Passerelle manufacturer Bioinox offer a harmonious balance between functional design, reliability, strength, safety, competitive pricing and elegant styling.

Available in three different model types from the simple Transom, Rotating and the more complex Retractable Passerelles. All models come with an impressive list of optional extras from anti-collision sensor kits to powerful LED lighting strips integrated into the sides of the grating.

New to the range for 2008 are the Flybridge Davits and hydraulic Tender Lifts. The elegant design and strength of the frame are the key points to the Davit range. With lifting capacities ranging from 300-1000 kgs, a potential rotation of 360º and extending lengths of 4 meters these lifts are suitable for a variety of tenders and water bikes. Made from full stainless steel structure, and a fully automated movement dedicated to the lifting and descent of the platform, the range of hydraulic Tender Lifts offer the ultimate for safety and capacity. Each product is customised to suit individual needs with lifting capacities up to 1000 kgs.

Cantalupi Lighting Stainless Steel Switches

The Cantalupi range of push button switches are the ultimate in style and performance. Made from a single slab of 316 AISI stainless steel and available in mirror finish stainless steel, brushed stainless, gold plated or RAL coloured and less than 30mm recess depth required, these switches will compliment any interior.

Spring mounted for easy installation, the Cantalupi range of switches are available in 1 to 6 gang, operated by dimmer or relay and available with or without LED back light.

High output LED Spot Lights

LED is the light source of the future; Architects, Designers, Yacht Owners and Builders are increasingly requiring this new technically superior and highly beneficial application. In order to fully use the potential of this light source and adapt it to the necessities of the marine industry, Cantalupi Lighting has heavily invested in its internal R&D department by creating its own technology, CNT Technology, for the design of lenses and reflectors. This technology now allows production of optics that can maximise and control the light produced by LEDs and has therefore permitted Cantalupi to develop and manufacture LED products with angles of light diffusion and illuminating power similar to those of traditional halogen lamps.

New LED Spot Light products for 2008 include: Ares, Titan, Vega, Nico, Jeny and Mary/L and Ray/L

Speich Marine Windscreen Wipers

Speich has been operating in the maritime and nautical sector since 1938, when the first clear view screen was patented.
