GREEHAM REGIS marine electronics was formed in 1997 via the merger of two well established companies, namely Greenham Marine Limited and Regis Electronics Limited, - both dealing exclusively in the sales, service and installation of marine electronic equipment.
Greenham Marine Limited was established, in Poole, in 1964. It is the only surviving company, specialising in the sales, services and installation of marine electronic equipment, from the 60's. They built up their reputation giving first class service to the fishing and yachting fraternity originally in the Poole Harbour area. Andy Haines joined Greenham Marine as an engineer in 1971 - he is now the Managing Director of GREENHAM REGIS marine electronics.
Regis Electronics Ltd was established in 1984 by Reg Suter (who, whilst now retired, is still our Honorary Chairman), and Keith Ash, who is now Sales Director.
Originally based in Southampton they soon expanded, opening offices in Chichester and Southampton. Malcolm Lane, our Technical Director, joined in 1988, and has gained a reputation as an engineer of outstanding quality and vast experience.
GREENHAM REGIS marine electronics, being an independent company 100% owned by the three directors (Andy, Keith and Malcolm) and two senior members of staff, takes great pride in it's investment in staff. The majority of our 17 employees have been with the company for over 10 years.
We have not only invested in experience but also in youth. We are committed to having apprentices to ensure that fresh skills are being brought into the industry.

Expansion and Relocation of FURUNO Marine Electronics European Distribution Centre…
Since the establishment of FURUNO European Distribution Centre in November 2004, the number of products handled at the centre has greatly increased. FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD., is pleased to announce that most finished products and major optional items are now in stock at FURUNO European Distribution Centre, and will continue to grow through demand.
FURUNO Europe B.V. (FEBV), which manages the distribution centre's activities within Europe, has appointed a Third Logistic Service Provider, Yusen Air & Sea Service (Benelux) B.V., the parent company of which is Nippon Yusen Kaisha, one of the world's leading shipping companies. This change is necessary, due to FURUNO's increased level of business in Europe.
Yusen's warehouse in Ridderkerk is located about 20km south-east of Rotterdam port and the town center, facing the famous world heritage Windmills across the river Maas. The new facility is four times larger than the former premises, allowing for continued growth while ensuring capable logistics.
FEBV has also moved their office next to Yusen's warehouse in Ridderkerk. Mr. Ioka, former staff at Order-taking & Shipping Section 2 of FURUNO Headquarters' Office, will join FEBV as Operation Manager reporting to Mr. Kitagawa, Director and General Manager, starting January 8, 2007.
The first delivery from this new distribution centre started on December 18, 2006, with great success for Just-in-Time delivery service.
